Historic and picturesque Stillwater provides fertile ground for Valley artists. Many of their works exhibited at the gallery feature the St. Croix River, Stillwater's unique lift bridge, paddlewheel boats and historic buildings.

Heather Hultgren       Heather Hultgren
Minnesota artist Heather Hultgren paints in pastels, oils, and acrylics. Her focus is nature and landscapes and paints in the studio and on location (plein air). She belongs to the Lake Country Pastel Society and Outdoor Painters of Minnesota, and has exhibited her work in Minnesota and out-of-state venues.

Renee has a life long passion for art and works mostly in pastels, often using watercolor and hand ground Chinese inks in mixed media pieces. She loves to capture the moments that are the essential bits of what have meaning for us in our day to day lives.

Now in her 80's, Lois has been painting since she was a teenager. She was part of the Wisconsin Rural Art Program and studied at the Art Students League in New York. She concentrades on rural art rendered in oils.

Eva was raised and educated in Germany and has lived in Minnesota for much of her life. Her more recent abstract expressionistic mixed media works are usually on panels or canvas and often are contain organic or floral shapes.
