Lynnea discovered clay in high school and soon began selling her work. She continued exploring ceramics via several years of independent study focusing on glazes and form. Most of her porcelains are created on a wheel and bear multiple layers of glaze to create surfaces with rich depth.
Lynnea received the Juror's Choice, the Purchase Choice, and the Peoples' Choice awards at the 2009 Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists Exhibition.

Melissa uses earthy glazes inspired by nature. Most of her pieces are thrown on the wheel, and feature sculptural elements and carvings and uses leather, twine and vine added to add dimension.
