Jane Dierberger

I am inspired by many things, but nature is my primary inspiration for creativity. Nature represents timelessness; truth; absolute beauty; peace and harmony. My paintings and botanical studies are often inspired by the large wooded property I have lived on in Stillwater for the past 20 years. My training consists of observation and independent study supplemented by workshops. I paint primarily in oil, as well as acrylic and watercolor.

Original work may be seen at the Stillwater Art Guild Gallery; Lion's Main Restaurant, Stillwater; Sail Away Cafe, Afton and Tippy Canoes Restaurant, Osceola, WI. In addition to being an artist I write a column called "Spotlight on Art" for the Stillwater Gazette and am a volunteer at ArtReach St. Croix and The Minnesota Museum of American Art in St. Paul.
