Watercolor paintings by Elaine fascinate the eye and play on the imagination. Her paintings range from impressionistic to abstract. Scenes remembered and scenes imagined co-mingle and set the tenor of her work. Elaine has traveled abroad to paint in the hill towns in Italy, the streets and countryside in Windemere, England, small towns in the Yucatan and the streets in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her art has been featured on gift bags, perpetual calendars, Heartland Sampler gift books, Courage Center holiday greeting cards, the cover of Minnesota Calls magazine and two Best of Watercolor books.
