Mary Kay Walsh-Kaczmarek, aka MKWK, continues a family photographic tradition from mugging for family portraits in infancy, to taking photos of toads with her mom’s Brownie box camera (camp, age 8). Progressing from photocubes to film to digital cameras, and utilizing varied travels in the USA and 20 foreign countries, her work captures intriguing impressions of nature and culture, places (recently specializing in Ireland), and people.
She has a B.A. Degree from Creighton University and has shown her work at the Banfill Locke Art Center, the Anoka County Library Northtown (3 times), the MN State Fair, and this Gallery.
