Photography first came into my life during high school in the mid seventies. Since then I have been trying to make good pictures. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of miles. I think the most important piece of equipment for my photography is a comfortable pair of shoes. It takes a lot of walking to find compelling, interesting, people, places and things to make pictures of. As Ansel Adams said “Good photography is all about knowing where to stand.”
