Eileen’s artistic talents and passions can be traced to her early childhood spending hours outside and drawing depictions of nature and the farming communities in and around the St. Croix River Valley where she grew up. Eileen is committed to education, continuous growth, and refinement of her craft by persistently studying the history and works of the old masters, attending workshops, talking classes, and leveraging individual coaching from exceptionally qualified and talented teachers in art. Eileen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor. Her inspiration for art has always been drawn from simple gifts around her in nature, architecture and everyday things just laying around the house. In every painting she strives to capture the essence of a single moment in time and convey my experience of that moment on the canvas in order to create a visual experience for the viewer that evokes a lasting emotional response.
