Imagination is a vibrant and vital element in Jessica Lynne-Bennett’s paintings, the pieces she creates crafting her as much as she crafts them. If Nature is empowered by its will to be unburdened, Jessica intends her work to follow this example. Jessica Lynne-Bennett started morphing animal abstracts ten years ago for fun, like a puzzle or a game. This eventually turned into a more serious artistic pursuit to capture all that is untamed – the animal kingdom, the trees and flora – all in a colorful abstracted painting style using acrylics.
Opening reception with refreshments on Saturday, May 4th, 6-8 pm. Stillwater Art Guild Gallery, 402 N Main, Stillwater, MN 55082
