Jane Dierberger is a local Stillwater oil and acrylic painter. She is inspired by many things, but nature is her primary source of inspiration. For Jane, Nature represents truth, timelessness, absolute beauty and harmony. Her paintings and botanical specimen studies are often inspired by the St. Croix Valley where she has lived for the past 25 years. She is an award winning artist and her painting “Wild and Scenic St. Croix River” created for the 50^th Anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act recently won a ribbon at the 2019 Minnesota State Fair Arts Competition. Her popular “Starry Night over Stillwater” has been turned into public art via the Stillwater Utility Box Project and is available for purchase at the Art Guild Gallery.
