Pam is a lifelong artist who has been drawing and painting ever since she can remember.  She is primarily an oil painter, but recently has been doing small studies in watercolor and ink. She is drawn to the natural beauty of the landscape,  especially the North Shore of Lake Superior and cozy cabins. She’s always on the lookout for places to paint that she would love to spend time at, and hopes that others will get a sense of place when viewing her work. Pam’s paintings are filled with color, light and shadow, and she continues to search for new ways to capture the essence of her subject.
Pam has a degree in art education and has taught art to children in Kindergarten through eighth grade for many years. She exhibits her work at Stillwater Art Guild Gallery and JNS Gallery in Lutsen, along with doing commissioned work. Pam’s painting “Croftville Cabin” was accepted into the Minnesota State Fair in 2019.
