When I started my University life with a Music Major and Art Minor only to realize I would be spending the majority of my University life in either a practice room or art studio. I quickly dropped the Art Minor and concentrated on Music finishing with a Masters degree. I taught choral music for 35 years in the public school system and had my first retirement in 2009. After retiring I renewed my love of the visual arts concentrating on pastels and book binding. This past year I left retirement to teach music part time at an International School in Šamorín, Slovakia. I am still actively painting exploring the medium of watercolors with Europe as my inspiration.
