My time to explore artistic pursuits came about when I moved to Montana in 1989 and traded my career as an architect for that of an artist. Soon after, I realized that I missed the energy and creative problem solving which my architectural interests provided. I found that creating art in a variety of forms was a better avocation for me than a vocation. I mainly pursue watercolor painting for my artistic outlet. I’ve been inspired from taking art classes which guide me in my watercolor studies. I also enjoy plein air painting as often as possible. I live in Apple Valley, Minnesota with my wife Rhonda. My hobbies include outdoor recreational activities.
