 Combining my love for the outdoors and interest in art with my curious personality I began my journey in becoming a representational oil painter rooted in the fundamentals with an emphasis on color. My paintings capture the effect of light by using the properties of color. studying at the St. Croix River School of Painting under Kami Mendlik allowed me to grow as an artist and see my surroundings with an artists eye.
